We are working with 10 Days of Prayer to Pray at the Virginia State Capitol during the 10 Days of Awe from Yom Teruah (aka Rosh Hashanah) to Yom Kippur--September 22nd to October 2nd.  We are praying at the State Capitol in Virginia and praying for our state and national officials.  Let us dedicate ourselves, our state and our nation to God.

• Wednesday, 9/24/25 at 5:00pm -- Corporate Prayer in Capitol Square outside near the Bell Tower
• Thursday, 9/25/25 at 1:00pm -- Corporate Prayer at the Virginia State Capitol in House Room 3 with leaders of 10 Days of Prayer 
• Friday, 9/26/25 at 5:00pm -- Corporate Prayer in Capitol Square outside near the Bell Tower, in conjunction with our online prayer in the Global Upper Room
• Saturday, 9/27/25 at 1:00pm -- Corporate Prayer and Worship in Capitol Square outside near the Bell Tower, in conjunction with The Truth In The Spirit's Ecclesia World Gathering  (Congregation Or Shalom will be closed)
• Sunday, 9/28/25 at 1:00pm -- Corporate Prayer in Capitol Square outside near the Bell Tower

Here are instructions and directions to access Capitol Square and the Virginia State Capitol.  Whether you are joining us in House Room 3 or in Capitol Square, put this address in your GPS:  1000 Bank St. Richmond, VA 23219.  This will bring you to the Bank Street entrance of Capitol Square (see pic above) at the corner of Bank St and 9th St.  When you enter there, go right for entrance into the Virginia State Capitol Building through security.  House Room 3 will be down the hall to the right.  When joining us in Capitol Square near the Bell Tower, go left after enter through the Bank Street entrance, up the hill and continue left.  We will be at the Mantle (a circular area), just right of the Bell Tower.  There is no access into the Capitol Building through the original front door at the top of the steps.  That door is permanently closed.  You must enter the Virginia State Capitol Building from the Bank Street entrance at the bottom of the hill.  If you enter Capitol Square from the Grace Street entrance, turn right and come down to the Bell Tower.  To continue to House Room 3, continue down the hill and turn left at the bottom.  

Parking:  Parking is not easily accessible in downtown Richmond, so you are encouraged to park at a near by parking lot or garage.  The nearest parking lot is the Commonwealth of Virginia Visitor Parking Garage directly across the street from the Bank St. entrance at the corner of N. 9th St. and Bank St.  You will need a credit card to pay for parking there, which costs $5 per hour.  Street parking is also an option but often unavailable.  There are other nearby lots and garages, which require a credit card and smartphone to pay.
